Closed for Christmas
The Ashburton MenzShed will be closed for the Christmas/New Years break from 2PM Thursday 18 December 2025 and reopen at 8:30AM on Tuesday 13 January 2026. We wish all our members and supporters a happy Christmas and New Year.

Bring a mate to the shed
Men’s Shed Week 2025 kicked off on Monday 8 September, and Ashburton Menz Shed is joining sheds across the country to celebrate the theme Building Healthy Communities. Bring a Mate to the Shed 10 AM Thu 11 Sep Morning Tea Talks from Blues Brothers and Prostate Cancer Support. Followed by BBQ Lunch All Welcome

Lifelong Learning Festival
The Ashburton Menzshed will be at the Ashburton Library this afternoon for the Lifelong Learning Festival. Pop in to see us between 4-7pm and learn about the informal learning that goes on at the shed. Try your hand at the Corn-hole and Ladder Golf games and learn how we made these in the shed.
